Williams Claims 2000 Golf Championship

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Williams College won the NESCAC Golf Championship today at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course (par 71) at Middlebury College. Williams' two day score of 645 was fourteen strokes better than second place finishers Middlebury and Amherst.

The Ephs had three of the top five finishers for the tournament. Will Sicks and Aaron Flink tied for second with Amherst's Todd Ballaban by shooting 159. Williams' Ned Wydysh had the next best score with a 161. The top performer of the tournament was Middlebury's David Greiner, who finished with a 158.
