Men's Lacrosse Weekly Release #1
HADLEY, Mass. Goalkeepers Rob Moccia (Malvern, Pa.) of Connecticut College and Ryan Deane (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) of Middlebury shared NESCAC Player of the Week for March 15, 2010. Moccia posted a .839 save percentage and a 3.33 goals against average during back-to-back wins for the Camels over the weekend. In his first career start for the Panthers, Deane made 20 saves to help his squad earn a 9-6 victory at Bates on Saturday, a .769 save percentage.

Kohn, Manager for Middlebury Lacrosse Programs, Passes Away at 77
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Beloved lacrosse manager and longtime Middlebury College friend, Myron G. Peter Kohn, 77, passed away on Aug. 5 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. The lacrosse legend was unable to recover from a heart attack he suffered on a fishing trip near his home in Cape May, N.J., on Aug. 1.

Five Men's Lacrosse Players Recognized on USILA All-America Teams
HADLEY, Mass. - Five NESCAC Men's Lacrosse players were recognized on Wednesday as All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). Of the three All-America teams, Middlebury senior Mike Stone (Boston, Mass.) and Wesleyan senior Spike Malangone (Lake Grove, N.Y.) earned First Team honors.

HADLEY, Mass. - Middlebury and Wesleyan had their seasons come to a close last week during the 2009 NCAA Mens Lacrosse Tournament. The Panthers picked up a 13-5 win at Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon but fell victim to Cortland St. on Sunday by a 16-8 score.

Middlebury Comes Up Short at Cortland St. in NCAA Men's Lacrosse Semifinals
CORTLAND, N.Y. - The Middlebury mens lacrosse team saw its season come to an end with a 16-8 loss at Cortland State in an NCAA Semifinal game. The fourth-ranked Red Dragons closed the game with a 9-2 second-half run to defeat seventh-ranked Middlebury. Cortland advances to next Sundays title game against Gettysburg, while the Panthers end their season with an impressive 15-3 mark.
