Game Four Suspended at Softball Championship - Will Resume Sunday

MEDFORD, Mass. – Due to lightning and rain in the Greater Boston area, game four of the NESCAC Softball Championship between Tufts University and Middlebury College on Saturday afternoon was suspended after four innings of play. The game will be resumed on Sunday at 9 am with Middlebury leading 1-0.

Following the conclusion of Tufts-Middlebury, the rest of the tournament schedule will be played on Sunday at Tufts' Spicer Field. Trinity College will face the Tufts-Middlebury loser in an elimination game five. The winners of games four and five will meet for the NESCAC title in game six, with a game seven played if necessary.
