Trinity Wins 2007 NESCAC Women's Squash Championship

HARTFORD, Conn. - Senior tri-captain Fernanda Rocha (Rosario, Argentina) allowed only two points, winning 9-1, 9-1, 9-0 at the No. 7 position to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 9-0 victory over the Williams College Ephs in the 2007 NESCAC Women's Squash Championship.  Trinity is now 12-2 overall for the season.

In their final home match of their careers, senior tri-captains Vaidehi Reddy (Madras, India) and Siobhan Knight (Harare, Zimbabwe) both were victorious, winning, 3-1, and, 3-2, respectively.  Junior Lauren Polonich (Calgary, Alberta) won, 3-0, in the No. 2 position for the Bantams.

In the third-place match, the Bates College Bobcats defeated the Bowdoin College Polar Bears 6-3.
