Trinity's Assaiante Selected as National Coach for US Squash
NEW YORK, N.Y. U.S. SQUASH announced that Paul Assaiante has accepted the position of National Coach. In this newly created position, Assaiante will lead the U.S. SQUASH coaching staff in their efforts to raise the profile of the U.S. Teams nationally and on the world stage, with the goal of elevating their performance at international competitions. Assaiante will remain in his role as Mens Head Squash Coach at Trinity College where he has led the Bantams to a record 12 consecutive National Championships.

Carmean of Amherst Steps Down as Men's Lacrosse and Women's Squash Head Coach
AMHERST, Mass. Amherst College announced today that head mens lacrosse and women's squash coach Tom Carmean will resign his position to become head coach of the Guilford College mens lacrosse program. Carmean led the Amherst men's lacrosse program to an 82-76 record and four NESCAC Championship semifinal appearances from 2000-10, including an impressive 32-14 stretch from 2003-05.

Six Men's Squash Players from Trinity Garner CSA All-America
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. The College Squash Association has announced its 2009-2010 Men's First and Second All-America teams. Of the 20 individuals honored this year, a total of six players hail from Trinity, the 2010 CSA National Champions, the most of any team represented on the All-America squad.

Four NESCAC Women's Squash Players Earn CSA All-America Honors
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. The College Squash Association has announced its 2009-2010 Women's First and Second All-America teams, with a total of four individuals from the NESCAC receiving recognition. Williams senior Toby Eyre was joined by the Trinity trio of Pamela Hathway, Nayelly Hernandez, and Nour Bahgat.

Men's Squash All-Conference Team Released
HADLEY, Mass. Seniors Kush Mahan (Kalamazoo, Mich.) of Bates and Ethan Buchsbaum (Princeton, N.J.) of Williams have been named as the 2010 NESCAC Co-Players of the Year, it was announced today. Mahan recorded a 15-3 record in dual play this past season, while Buchsbaum was 10-11 and helped the Ephs to a runner-up finish at the 2010 NESCAC Mens Squash Championship in February.
