Trinity & Wesleyan Men's & Women's Ice Hockey Teams to Play at Rentschler Field Feb. 15

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College and Wesleyan University men's and women's ice hockey teams will participate in Whalers Hockey Fest 2011 this coming February with a pair of outdoor contests at Rentschler Field. The teams will take part in a NESCAC doubleheader on Tuesday, Feb. 15, with the women's game between the Bantams and the Cardinals starting at 4:00 p.m. followed by the men's match at 8:15 p.m.
Whalers Hockey Fest 2011 will run from February 11-20 at Rentschler Field. In addition to the college games, the greatest hockey event in Connecticut history will feature: a Hartford Whalers alumni vs. Boston Bruins alumni classic, an NHL Legends game commemorating the 25th anniversary of the 1986 NHL All-Star Game being played in Hartford, more than a dozen elite high school and prep school games and a "Whaler Village", featuring exhibitors, games and the Whalers Mobile Hall of Fame. On February 19th the CT Whale will battle the Providence Bruins in the second all-time AHL outdoor game.
