Wild, Williams (Senior, Midfielder - Portland, Ore.) Wild led the Ephs to their fourth consecutive NESCAC Women’s Soccer title over the weekend, as she scored back-to-back game-winners for her team. On Saturday in a 2-0 semifinal victory over Middlebury, Wild connected on a free kick from 18 yards out in the 28th minute. During Sunday’s championship at Amherst, her tally in the 74th minute was the only one in the game. Wild is tied for the team lead in points with 23 (7-9-23). |

During Friday’s 3-0 victory against Middlebury, Wild scored once and assisted on the other two goals. She followed on Sunday with two more assists as the three-time defending conference champions posted a 4-1 quarterfinal victory over Wesleyan. Wild leads the NESCAC in assists with nine through 15 games. |

Brisco, Amherst (First Year, Forward - Houston, Texas) Brisco tallied all three of the Lord Jeffs’ goals during a 1-1-0 week. She had the game’s first goal in a 2-1, double-overtime loss to Keene St. on Wednesday, then scored twice in a critical 2-0 victory at Wesleyan on Saturday to keep Amherst atop the NESCAC standings. Brisco leads her squad in goals with five through 13 games, ranking second among all NESCAC rookies. |

Wright, Tufts (First Year, Goalkeeper - Austin, Texas) In her first collegiate start on Saturday at Trinity, Wright made nine saves to help the Jumbos earn a 1-0 victory. It was the fifth consecutive shutout win for Tufts, which is now 5-0-1 over its last six games after starting 1-2-1. Earlier in the week, Wright played during the second half of Tufts’ 1-0 victory against Endicott on Monday, stopping two shots. On the season, Wright has appeared in eight games and owns a 0.37 goals against average and an .920 save percentage. |

Vandeventer, Bates (Junior, Forward - North Attleboro, Mass.) Vandeventer had both game-winners for the Bobcats in a 2-0-0 week. After scoring the first goal of Tuesday’s game in an eventual 3-0 victory against Southern Maine, Vandeventer put home the decisive goal in the 83rd minute of Saturday’s 2-1 decision over Williams, Bates’ first win against the Ephs since 2006. All three of Vandeventer’s team-high three goals have been game-winners this season. |

Kirk, Middlebury (First Year, M/F - San Francisco, Calif.) Kirk tallied the first three goals of her career to help the Panthers erase a 3-0 deficit with 10 minutes to play and earn a key 4-3 overtime victory against Amherst on Saturday. Kirk scored twice in regulation to bring Middlebury within one, then won the match for her team as she completed the hat trick in the 95th minute for her first career game-winner. |

Gould, Bowdoin (Junior, Forward - East Sandwich, Mass.) Gould tallied four times and added two assists during a 3-0-0 week for the Polar Bears, as she moved into sixth place on the program’s all-time goal-scoring list (27). After accounting for a goal and an assist in Wednesday’s 5-1 win at Southern Maine, Gould put on a repeat performance in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Connecticut College. She finished the week with two goals in Sunday’s 4-0 decision against Maine-Farmington. Gould leads the NESCAC in goals scored with seven through eight games. |

After opening the scoring in the match with a penalty kick goal in the seventh minute, Wild made it 2-0 Williams in the 16th minute and then picked up an assist in the 19th minute. Her second assist on the day came in the 77th minute. Although she was held scoreless in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory at Western Conn. St., Wild had five shots in the game, three of which were on net, to lead her team. |

Howard, Trinity (Junior, Forward - Bethany, Conn.) Howard accounted for three of the Bantams’ four goals in a 2-0-0 week. She had both tallies in a 2-0 victory over Manhattanville on Wednesday, then scored an insurance marker in the 24th minute, less than 10 minutes after the opening goal in a 2-0 win at Middlebury on Saturday. Howard, who has led Trinity in goal scoring in each of the last two seasons, now has 22 career markers. |

Bennett, Colby (Sophomore, Goalkeeper - Lynn, Mass.) After missing the entire 2009 campaign due to injury, Bennett made 18 saves in her collegiate debut, a scoreless draw at Trinity on Saturday. During the first half of the contest, Bennett made nine saves as the Bantams owned a 12-3 advantage in shots. She also combined to make three saves over two overtimes. |

Maeve
Stewart, Tufts (First Year, Forward - Palo Alto, Calif.) Stewart began her collegiate career by tallying all three Tufts goals in a 3-0 victory over Middlebury on Saturday. Stewart put the Jumbos on the scoreboard in the 10th minute of the match, then added to the lead less than two minutes after the halftime break. She completed the hat trick in the 56th minute. |
